- Rubya del Vulcano is our 100% organic cascara, made from the dried skin of coffee cherries grown on the volcanic slopes of North Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In this region, bordering Uganda and the Virunga National Park, altitude, regular rainfall, and fertile soils create ideal conditions for arabica coffee. Rubya is made from hand-selected cherries chosen for their sugar content, slowly sun-dried and processed using the dry method. Suitable for both hot and cold infusions.
